Gabi Fresh for Swimsuits For All

Today we didn't leave the house. I rocked the Gabi Fresh for Swimsuitsforall and topped up the tan. Ever since I saw this Bikini I needed it, as in right this second. It's a quirky print, somewhat highwaisted and as the cutest cut outs, which I love. I'm all for quirky swimwear in a wide variety of sizes. Gabi Gregg is my all time favourite Blogger and she even inspired me to start this Blog back at the start of 2012! She's paving the way for women of all shapes and sizes and giving women all across the world confidence. You can never have enough positive roles models in the world, and Gabi is definitely one of mine.
I ordered a US14 which is a UK18 in both the top and the bottom. The sizing is good. It hugs my curves well and shows off my shape. I've an hourglass shape although I'm lacking in the bum department. I'm at 38E at the moment (Possibly small back, larger cup! Need to get fitted pronto) and the top fits really well. It also has adjustable straps if you want to give your chest a bit more lift. As well as adjustable straps, they're also detectable so you don't have to worry about tan lines! The bottoms are nice and high concealing your tummy, but has these sexy cut out, which for me is really the selling point!
Another short and sweet post for me I'm afraid. I've been bitten alive and my face is covered in Sudocreme and I'm currently fighting off every living insect in France. I swear they're swarming towards me at an alarming rate! I really don't know what I'm going to do with I got to South East Asia and Australia. Other than hide somewhere safe and arm myself with repellent every time I have to leave the safety of my hiding spot! Anyway enough with the melodramatics. Over all this is a gorgeous bikini, made me feel great and isn't too expensive. I'm definitely picking up a similar one for my trip!
On a more personal note I love doing these posts. I love showing women that you can wear what you want. I'm so far from perfect it's unbelievable, but that's okay. It's okay to be confident, even if you don't have the "perfect" body according to beauty standards. Sure my tummy and legs are wobbly but who cares? Like I honestly couldn't give two monkeys about what people think of me. It's taken me a while, but at the end of the day the only person you should be concerned about is yourself. If you're unhappy with your body I firmly believe you should change if. If you're happy then embrace it and it's as simple as that. Don't let anyone ever tell you that you're not beautiful or you're less than. As long as you're a kind person you're beautiful!

France Day 4| Chatelaillon Plage

T-shirt/Skirt:New Look, Sunglasses/Sandals:Primark, Necklace:River Island, Bag:Fran&Jane

I'm going to keep this one short and sweet. We travelled down to Chatelaillon Plage just down the coast from La Rochelle.  It was such a lovely day and a great chance to top off my tan walking along the beach! I kept this relatively simple with a loose T-shirt and floaty skirt. I added a pop of colour with a statement necklace and added a pop of pink with my all time favourite Lippy "Candy Yum Yum" from Mac.

France | Day Three

It was a scorching day today today, so there was only really one thing to do. Sunbathe! I'm not a sun worshipper really, but I need a bit of down time so plonked myself by the pool for the better half of the afternoon! It was really peaceful and I even nodded off for a bit
After Breakfast (2 Eggs,Toast, a Banana, an Apple and some Mint Green Tea) I was fuelled up for the day. I had a rather late breakfast so it was really more of a brunch! We went into town to the Supermarket to get some more food (i.e Chicken and Pancakes for me!) so after that I hit the pool!I forget to bring a cover up away with me so just threw a Kimono over my Bikini just while I run from the house to the pool. It's only a stones throw away though, but I'm not partial to running around in the nip on holiday's...any more! It's light and airy so it's not too warm in the heat making it perfect for both day and night.

To get the minimum amount of tan lines I chose my strapless bikini from Forever21+ I love pretty much everything about it. The High waisted bottoms are perfect for gals who are a bit tummy conscious and the strapless top is great from sunbathing. It comes with detachable straps so if you want a bit more support! I'm not going to harp on too much about being bikini confident like I've done the past few years. I think all women should be able to rock whatever they want. Whether you're plus size, slim, have big boobs, small boobs, a big bum, no bum etc... It doesn't matter what you have or haven't got just wear what you feel comfortable in and enjoy the sun! The only person you need to be concerned about is yourself. So if you feel good in a bikini wear one! Confidence is key :)
The Pool was absolutely freezing (Aren't they all?) but it was too hot outside not to take the plunge and cool off. I hate being cold and there's nothing hate more than jumping into a cold pool! If only that was my only dilemma every Monday afternoon! It takes a fierce bit of balls to put a close up of your bod on the internet, but I had to show you the lovely pattern and the frill detail, plus I'm comfortable in my body, so why not show it off ;) The frill detail is a nice feminine touch, but also takes the eye away from your stomach which is clever! I would however really recommend the straps if you were doing anything other tan pool time and a dip in the pool as it's not that secure!

The Pool is the perfect size. It;s not too deep either so if you're like me and don't want to always get my hair wet you can walk the entire length without going under. I do like going for a good swim but sometimes I just want to cool down my body and not have my hair go cray with the Chlorine!  I had a lovely chill Monday's where my emails went unanswered and I didn't have to worry about anything other than what I was going to have to eat for the rest of the day. When I go home I've 11 weeks left before I'm off travelling for a couple of months so I suppose I've that to look forward to!
