Instagram Catchup

So the room was cleaned thanks my lovely Dad, and my charger is still no where to be seen. I really need to find it tonight as I'm working pretty much flat out for the next few weeks and want to keep my little space updated! I love reading these Instagram style posts, so I decided to do one myself! If you want to follow me I'm (BOWFABULOUS) It's been a bit of a hectic week all round, and the next two aren't looking too good either! However I'm just remaining focused as if I'm not I think I'll loose my mind and hopefully I'll find my camera charger!
The main part of my week apart from working was getting my huurr done. I know a lot of people are "over" the whole Ombre look, but I'm not one of  'em. I got it cut and coloured on Tuesday in Ozlo in Georges St Arcade by a lovely chap call Matthew. He listened to what I wanted and I was thrilled. It cost a bit of cash, but I got what I wanted and love the colour and the cut. I'm new to looking after Ombre so I'm looking in to see what products are great for coloured hair. If y'all have any recommendations please let me know! In the afternoon I was lucky enough to get a complimentary facial by the lovely Skinician in Harvey Nichols. My skin was in dire need of some TLC and you've no idea how grateful I was! I had the "Glycolic Peel" and my skin was left incredibly soft. Normally these facials cost €65 but Skinician are offering Facials for €50  in Harvey Nichols on the 28th and the 29th of May for €50, which is redeemable on all Skinician products. So if you're feeling like you're in need of some TLC I couldn't recommend the Skinician team more. I'm currently testing out two of their products and so far so good! I'll report back in two weeks and let you know my thoughts.

Over all the rest of my week was a bit bland, I was just working. I went out on Friday night and it cemented the fact that going out just isn't go me any more. It's just something I don't enjoy any more and it all feels quite juvenile. I feel myself getting older and more sensible?! Now all I need to do is sort of my career and I'll be a fully fledged adult! Now don't get me wrong every once in a while I will let loose and go crazy, but for the most part I'm swearing off nightclubs. I've also gone off drinking too. I was never a huge drinker but for the most part I'm going to be teetotal! That does exclude one or two cocktails with my favourite girls of course! Over the past week or so I also had some nice food, most of which was demolished before I had a chance to get snap happy! As it was the 10 year anniversary of "Mean Girls" I watched it with my friends over the weekend and it never gets old! Parts of the week were lovely and it really made me ready for Summer! (It's officially Summer now, which is kind of crazy!) I've just checked the weather forecast however and it's not looking good for I was next week, which is a bit of a bummer. The sun really does lift everyone's mood and Dublin is such a lovely city in the sunshine, here's hoping the forecast is wrong!

Anyway the Bank Holiday is nearly over so I hope you all have a wonderful week!

Benefit "Agent Zero Shine" Powder

Another day, another beauty review. I've misplaced my DSLR charger so apologies for the lack of outfit posts! I'm trying to find it but it's buried somewhere in my room and it's going to take me a couple of days to locate it! I'm working a lot over the next two weeks so I'm trying to keep on top of this blog, so do bare with me!
I'm a huge fan of the "Porefessional" primer so was totally sucked in when Benefit brought out "Agent Zero Shine"*. Big pores ruin my buzz when I'm applying makeup so I was happy to give this a whirl and see if it's as good as the primer. As I've dry skin I avoided powders for the longest time, assuming that they'd only make my dry skin worse so when I first applied this powder I was happy to find out that it's very light and doesn't leave your face feeling "cakey" we all know that feeling, right? It's extremely easy to use all you do is tun the tube so the product can come out, pour a little bit into the lid and swirl the little brush around and powder yo' face. Simple really.  I do want to point out that you need to be very careful about empting the contents into the lid, as once it comes out it, you ain't getting it back in - which is a bit of a nuisance if I'm honest.

Agent Shine is a lightweight powder, designed to control shine, reduce the appearance of pores and smooths skin. On the skin the powder has a lovely velvety feel as it's finely milled. Your skin really does feel incredibly soft afThe powder looks very natural on the skin and from all the reviews I've read it looks like it suits most complexions! It only comes in one colour, but it shouldn't put you off, as it's nearly invisible once it's been applied. I wear Agent Shine on top of my foundation, but you can also wear it on it's own for a natural look, it's really up to you! Over all I do love this product, I just wish it was a little bit cheaper than €33.50 as you only get 7grams of product. It does work however. It's one of the few powder's that doesn't leave me feeling like my skin can't breathe and will be perfect coming into Summer!

Forever21 Plus Size Haul

This month Sian went shopping. It's not like I need any clothes but I felt it was time to treat myself and get ready for Spring/Summer (finally!) While I wanted to go a little bit mad I also wanted to be mindful of the fact that I'm not made of money. A few days before Pay Day I was doing my usual online shopping rounds and found some absolute gem on FOREVER21 in there Plus Size section all for relatively cheap. I patiently waited and I got paid two days before expected so last Friday I ran to my laptop and ordered a few bits, so I thought it was only polite to share them with you!
I don't have a lot of tops believe it or not. I've a million and one dresses but I'm severely lacking in tops, especially dressy ones. This top jumped at me and at €29 it's a bargain! I'ts a sheer cream top that gathers at your waist and flows out. It will be perfect with your skinny jeans for a night out and a nude bra. Add a tank top underneath and a grey cardigan and you've a casual date look! I can't wait to wear this and it will look even better when I've a tan in the Summer!
You can never get enough Summer dresses. They're perfect for your holidays and most don't crease! I love this tribal print one. Although It's a little bit loose it will be a handy number on holidays. It can be dressed up with a nice pair of black wedges and a statement necklace or dressed down with a trilby hat and sandals. the drawstring is for decorative purposes only, I do wish I could cinch it in a little bit more but I could always wear a belt!
How cute is this romper? I sized up to a 2x and I'm glad I did. It's still a little bit loose but the 1x would of been quite tight and uncomfortable. It's got the cutest button detail back that allows you to show a little bit of skin! The only problem with this is there's no side zip so whenever you'll need to pee you're going to have to get a little help from a friend! Although it's a small price to pay for a bloomin' cute this is! As the print is really busy a nice statement gold necklace would really set it off.
I tried this dress on in the Dublin store last month and the 1x was a teeny tiny bit too small on the chest area and they didn't have the 2x so I ordered it here. It's perfect, albeit a little loose but it's not too noticeably and if it starts to bother me I can always add a belt! It's gorgeous on and I love the little cap sleeves - definitely a winner for the Summer. I love the button details and I know that it's going to be a Summer staple for me.

Are you guys a fan of Forever21+?
