Cartoon Print Dress Review

Another Outfit post, from a little while ago! I've got to become more organised. Truth is I didn't think this outfit picture came out great at all, but I want to share this dress with you all anyway! A little while ago I was kindly sent this dress, from Yours Clothing, I'm not going to Rave about them again, as you all know how I feel about them, from my continuous praise! They're definitely in my top three, Plus Size online retailers enough, and I feel you'll all get sick of me raving about them!
I love this dress, the print was what originally drew me to it. I love wacky prints, and this one is just simply gorgeous! Again it's a skater dress (surprise, surprise!) and is a really good fit and  shape! It has a lovely mesh detail on the straps and the round neck, which is a nice touch, which makes the dress appropriate for a night out! I wore it here with my favourite Neon Green Blazer from Penney's which I picked up in the sale for about €7! Zara had a very similar style back last year, but in a vibrant yellow! I wore it with this dress to bring out the green in the dress, as I felt pairing black with it, was boring and predictable! Saying that, for a fail safe outfit, for this Autumn/Winter would be a black leather jacket, statement necklace and Over the Knee boots! It also washing well, and the print, doesn't fade at all, something I was worried about on first inspection!
As you can see the print is really cool and quirky, and although it is VERY busy, I absolutely love this. I love the pop of neon throughout, making it really easy to make an outfit, as you've every colour under the rainbow to match it with! Although, you have to be careful so you don't look to busy in terms of accessories and I'd personally stick to one pop of colour. I kept the rest of the outfit plain like always! I'm so glad I picked this dress, as it's really comfortable, so easy to dress up or down and is a print, not a lot of Plus Size retailers would be brave enough to carry! Whenever I want a dress like this I'm going to head to Yours Clothing! This one is unfortunately sold out (I'm not surprised why!) but This Multi Coloured Cartoon Print dress is really really similar! And if you use "BLOGGER 9" at the check out you can get £10 off your first order! So you can nab this baby for under £35.50, a Total bargain!

Plus Size Halloween Costumes

Sorry for my lack of posting, I'm back on a bit of a roll, so let's see how long this lasts! Halloween is my favourite time of the year, and I'm already planning my Costume(s) for this year. I've ordered two costumes for far, which I'm so excited for and can't wait until the end of the month to wear them! I'll be wrecked by the time Halloween is over! Over the last few years, I've been Snow White, Little "Dead" Riding Hood and Minnie Mouse. I've been looking at a lot of Fancy Dress websites from the States and from the UK as I personally find them, a lot better than Irish Websites. I find there is more choice and the costumes are more original and not your typical tradition Halloween Costume. The choice is greater, and you're not as likely to have 10 girls at the same party in the same costume! Hands up, who this has happened to? Anyway, I've picked a few of my favourite Plus Size costumes for you ladies, if any of you are stuck for some Idea's!
The Costume Shop
As you may know, I had a bit of a problem with the Costume shop last year, with them giving me woeful customer service, but I'm not a bitter 'ol biatch and have picked my favourite Plus Size costumes from their website. All I will say is order from them well in advance, so you can rest assured your order will arrive on time In all the years I've been buying from them, last year was what I hope was just a bad experience. They have a good selection of Plus Size costumes, and all are at a reasonable price. In terms of quality, they're like every Halloween costume at affordable prices! I've ordered 4 costumes from them over the years, and all are still in pretty good nick. Their selection has grown over the years, and they have quite a good selection, which will cater for women of all tastes.I personally love the School Uniform and the Pirate!
Yandy.com
An American site, which I've actually ordered not one, but two costumes from. They're by far my favourite site! The Yanks really know how to do Halloween, and all these costumes are absolutely amazing! I can't vouch yet for quality, but everything looks top notch, and are all at relatively good prices. My two costumes cost me about $50 each, and are totally different! (One girly, One scaryish!) They have the best selection of Plus Size costumes in my opinion, that aren't cheap looking, or really long and they have so many costumes, you definitely won't spot the same one at whatever party you're planning on going to! The site is really easy to browse and they have really good shipping rates to Ireland and the UK! Definitely worth a look in!

Diva's and Dudes
For those of you, who want to go scary, this website is absolutely amazing, and caters for a wide variety of sizes, from big to small! It's probably the cheapest out of the three websites, and all costumes are fantastic" They range from ultra girly to downright scary! Who knows, if I get another party to go to, I'll order off these folks! (Don't judge me, I love Halloween!) I find it hard to get a short, scary costume, as Halloween is the only night of the year, when I can wear a short skirt with ease ;) and not in fear of what Dad will say when I leave the house! I fell like a teen going to her first disco all over again! Over all most costumes are under £20, which is an absolute bargain! I would definitely highly recommend this website! Now I haven't ordered from them, but for one night you can't go too wrong, and in some costumes they go up to a size 30!

What are you guys planning on wearing for Halloween?

Effaclar Duo Review

Okay, so another Blog review on this product. It's probably the most talked about La Roche-Posay products in the beauty world, with everyone and their mother seeming to be using it. It's really popular and everyone I've mentioned it to, has nothing but positive things to say about it! As I've said before, I don't review skincare products I don't love, as to be honest It takes up so much time writing reviews, and I don't have the time with my schedule!I've been using La Roche-Posay "Effaclar Duo" with a month now, and I absolutely love it. It's definitely been incorporated into my skincare regime, and I can't rave enough about it, like the rest of the world!  As I've mentioned before I look to other Beauty Bloggers, and I do trust them to give me sound, honest advice on a product, and every one has been bang on about this little gem!
So first things first, with me working and socially pretty much all the time, often I can become requite lax with my skincare regime. I start off with all the good intentions in the world, and it slowly gets worse and worse! Although in the last couple of months I've been very well behaved between all the lovely skincare products, I've tried, tested and loved! It's such a joy to use this product, I look forward to using it on a daily basis, and let me tell you! My skin has never looked so good! It's a gel like texture, and I use it daily, sometimes even twice. I use it before my moisturiser after I've cleansed and toned. It unclogs my pores, evens out my skin tone, and really calms down the odd spot or two I get around that time of the month! It's a lovely gel like consistency, and it feels lovely applying it to your skin. I've been using this for over a month now, and I still have a fair amount left, so for around €17 you're getting good value for money. I personally will continue to buy this, until something wows me more!
Now from reading quite a lot of reviews, quite a number of bloggers use this instead of a moisturiser. Personally I don't, having dry skin I definitely need to use a moisturiser, however if you've oily skin, this would definitely suffice in keeping your skin moisturised! The gel like consistency glides onto your skin, and skins in almost immediately. I only use a little bit at a time and my skin is absolutely reaping the benefits. I feel a lot more comfortable going without makeup after using this product. My skin is less red, my pores are less noticeable and my skin has really cleared up. I can't stress to you all how much I love this product! It should be a staple in everyone's skincare regime!

Have you guys tried it?
