YSL Rouge Volupte "Lingerie Pink"

Hey Beauties,
A little while ago, I treated myself to a gorgeous lipstick. I wouldn't normally spend more than €30 on a lipstick, but I had a voucher left over from Christmas and decided to spoilt myself a little bit, after a long day in work. I want so many of these lipsticks, it was hard not to buy them all! In the end I choose this gorgeous pink one. In shade #7. It's the perfect pink to wear during the day, as it's so pretty and girly and not too dramatic.
The packaging of these lipsticks are truly gorgeous, and you really feel you're getting a little bit of luxury. The gold case, and the pink inset makes it nearly too good to use. I know it's bad, but I'm more likely to splash out on a lipstick with gorgeous packaging! Not only is the YSL gorgeous packaging it's an amazing lipstick. It glides on your lips and is moisturising upon application. Although moisturizing going on, unfortunately it's quite drying on my lips after a little while, even when my lips have been in good condition prior to application. Although  I apply lip balm before and after to try and reduce it, which seems to work!
I LOVE  the colour, it's so pink and girly and gives me an instant lift whenever I put it on. It's a lot more blue toned that you'd expect from just looking at it, but I really do like it. It's highly pigmented and can be applied a couple of times for a stronger colour. Overall I love this product, and would happily buy all the gorgeous colours if I had the money!

What do you guys think of Rouge Volupte Lipsticks?

Flower Power

Hey Lovelies,
Hope you all had a lovely weekend! I am so sick of Winter, and so delighted that it's March. Winter was so long, dark and cold. I can't wait for the nights to get a little longer, and for the weather to not to be baltic. I've started wearing more and more summer colours so I guess in my head it's Spring already.
 Top:COS,Trousers*:Simply Be, Shoes:Topshop, Necklace:New Look
These trousers are the perfect transitional piece. As it's still cold, and I don't want to look too crazy funny around town in bright colours when it's practically still snowing outside.I Paired it with a black over sized top and pink pumps. They're so comfortable, and although I would like them a little bit neater on the leg I love the shape. When it get's a bit warmer outside, I'd wear a white tee tucked into them and cute sandals!
As you know I love floral prints, I find a way to wear them every season, and I can't wait to wear these all through out next summer! My only gripe is they are a little bit too light for this time of year, and will probably have to wait until next month to wear the properly, but that just might be my body temperature, I'm always freezing cold! They're true to size, and you could even size down if you wanted to wear them a little bit tighter, as it has an elasticated back on them.

Anyone else rocking the floral trouser trend?

CurvaceousINC Launch Party

Hey Lovelies,
I've been a busy little bee lately! Last month I headed off to Birmingham to the CurvaceousINC Launch party. CurvaceousINC is a new plus size magazine which has recently been brought out. Leanna the editor and I have been talking for a number of months, and I was delighted when she offered me the chance to write a column for the magazine! Of course I didn't have to think too long or too hard, before I said yes. It's a brilliant magazine, with a very talented and dedicated team behind it. I'm so glad to be a part of their team. My column is out in the next issue! Eeek! If there's anything you'd like me to discuss, please let me know!
As an Irish blogger, I love when I get the chance to meet up with the gorgeous blogger I love from the UK! It's always so nice to put a face to a name and to meet this lovely girls in person, of course they didn't disappoint! The launch party was held in Bank, a swanky restaurant in the central of Birmingham. We were given Bellini's on arrival which were yummy, and probably the nicest canape's I've ever had were floating around, boy was I glad to skip dinner ;)
Becky, Naomi,Rosie, and me :)
These girls were so warm and welcoming, it was so nice to finally meet them all, after all tweeting and chatting we do through our blogs! The Plus Size blogging community really is lovely and supportive and I'm so proud to be part of it<3
After mingling for a little while, and chatting to all the girls, we were treated to a fashion show, showing off clothes from Dorothy Perkins, Asos Curve and Navabi to name a few. It was a great show and I loved all the gorgeous outfit's that were put together! The gorgeous model's were from Hughes model agency, which has some absolutely beautiful women! Not only were the girls stunning, but all were absolutely lovely to chat to. After the catwalk a few talks were held, Becky talked all about Plus North, which I'm dying to attend, as well as founder of DressXS, who came up with a great website where you can buy nearly new plus size occasion wear.
My dress is from Asos, my jacket from River Island and my belt from Primark! I wanted something that would travel well, and wouldn't get too creased! I wore my muched loved Dunnes Stores wedges which I can actually walk in, and my feet don't kill me at the end of the night! The launch party was a great success, and I'm so thrilled to be involved with such a positive magazine :)
