Jasper Jewellery Review

I'm all for supporting Irish companies, I even work for one! When Jasper Jewellery contacting me last week, I was eager to check it out. I've a rather funny taste in jewellery. I have my few Tiffany&Co items for special occasions and from special people but I'm really all for cheap and tacky Jewellery! I love my statement necklaces, and for me the more flashy the better! On first inspection of the website, I wasn't quite sure on what to get... In the end I ended up ordering a Black Swaroski Crystal Bracelet. I don't own a lot of bracelets, and I wanted something I could wear on special occasions as well as to work or for out to dinner. I can home from work on Wednesday night, after a long day and saw a little parcel waiting for me! It was wrapped beautifully, and it was a lovely little package to come home to.
It comes beautifully wrapped in a colour wrapping paper with a bow around, as with all purchases, so it's perfect for a gift so you don't have to worry about wrapping! It was presented neatly in a black box, with blue velvet on the inside, where the Swarovski crystal really stood out. What I miss about buying cheap jewellery is that it's never presented nice in a nice box, and you don't feel special! On first inspection, the bracelet is beautiful. The Purple and Blue gems are gorgeous, and the little heart charm makes the bracelet extra feminine. It is described on the website as:"Elasticated Swarovski Crystal Bracelet. Sparkling, faceted jet lantern beads and petite silver tone rings are complemented by additional pale violet and tanzanite lantern beads. Miniature bauble Austrian beading and finished off with a delightful metallised multifaceted pale violet heart shaped Swarovski crystal. This Elasticated Swarovski  Bracelet is very easy to slip on as you rush the door."
Black Elasticated Swaroski Crystal Bracelet* €50
As you can see for €50 (It's on sale for €40 right now) you're getting a bargain. It's the perfect gift although it's dressy, it's a very versatile piece, that you can wear all the time. I definitely want to wear more bracelet's, so I know I'm going to get the wear out of it. I wear black and neutral colours a lot, and it would be the perfect accent to dress it up!  The Customer Service was fantastic, and I had every faith my parcel would arrive like precious cargo! In these recessionary times, I was delighted to receive fantastic customer service from the team, and I would gladly order from them in future. I also love that it's elasticated, for not one, but two reasons. I hate fiddling with clasps and if you're on your own it can be near impossible to close it, and I love that it will fit regardless of what wrist size you have. So if you've small wrists or larger wrists this bracelet will fit you perfectly. I choose this bracelet as it's perfect for the upcoming Autumn/Winter. The deep purples, pinks and blues will fit in perfectly with my Autumnal wardrobe. You can check out Jasper Jewellery Online, where they stock a whole range of Swaroski necklaces, bracelets and rings! The website is easy to navigate through, you can sense it's a small Irish company, which I personally love, and I wish them nothing but success! They also stock a whole range of Jewellery, that although isn't all my taste, people with a finer taste in Jewellery will appreciate :)

Clash, Clash, Clash

I'm a huge fan of clashing prints. I love throwing outfits together that no one would think would work. For my Cousin's Hen last weekend, I was at a loss of what to wear. I'd left it to the last minute (as usual) and I was quite tired from the night previous. So in my Delirious state, I threw this outfit together, and you know what? I absolutely LOVE it. It's not to everyone's taste, I know but I love the Neon floral clashing with the Leopard print!I've had all items for well over a year, and I'm thrilled to get a wear out of it before it goes back up in the attic until next Summer! I kept accessories to a minimum, with just one statement Collar necklace from Asos, which I bought last year. At the time I thought €50 for one necklace off Asos was a bit expensive, but I've worn it loads, and it's the type of necklace you can bring out, year, after year. The Blazer is perfect for a night on the tiles, as it's actually really light, meaning I could keep my outfit on all night! Silly I know! However when I did take it off, the necklace was just enough to keep the outfit interesting!
Dress:New Look, Blazer:River Island, Necklace:Asos, Bag:Fran&Jane
I opted for my comfy black wedges, as I knew if the Friday night was anything to go by, we'd be dancing the night away! I got them in Dunnes Stores last year for €25 and they're so incredibly comfortable. I could honestly dance in them the whole night. I was happy to bring out my favourite bag of all time. Neon Pink and massive, what's not to love? I don't think it's possible to get a bag more suited to me. I've had it well over a year now, and it's held up pretty well! I will rock this in the Winter as well, and bright up a black coat! As much as I think the "High Low" trend has been done to death, and a lot of cheap tacky shops are doing replica's, but I think this is nice and classy, as classy as Leopard Print goes!

The Body Shop: Heavenly Hands Set Review

With Autumn in full swing, I'm looking for products to get me through the season. One thing I absolutely loathe is dry and cracked hands. There's nothing more painful, and when the harsher weather comes, I'm constantly wearing gloves. Hand and Nail cream have never been a high priority for me. The more, and more I read about the benefits, the more I wish I did incorporate them into my skincare routine. Last year I tried the Vaseline one, and really noticed a difference, however that soon gathered dust on my dressing table, as the tube, although not big annoyed me rolling around at the end of my bag! These three Hand and Nail creams from the Body Shop are perfect for your handbag, so I'd definitely pop one of these into my handbag so I'd use it! These Hand Creams come in three 30ml tubes, so even if you don't carry around big bags, they'll fit nicely into a smaller one.
After testing all three Hand Creams out, my Favourite scent has to be the Wild Rose. As a lover of anything floral, this was always going to be my favourite! The Almond Hand and Nail Cream comes a close second, as it's quite subtle but smells gorgeous. I'm still undecided on the Hemp Hand Protector I found this cream, left my hands the softest, but I wasn't a huge fan of the scent! Now don't get me wrong, it's not awful, it's not really strong or anything, but it's not as sweet as I'd usually go for! However it's highly moisturising and the scent is something I can look past, as like I said it's not strong in the slightest. This set contains three hand creams, all targeted at different skin types. This little set would be a perfect present for someone, giving them the chance to test out all three! It's also a nice little pick me up for yourself if you're undecided on what hand cream you want to pick up, and would like to test a few!
Heavenly Hands Set*
Almond Hand&Nail Cream is for all skin types. It's meant to keep your hands and nails in tip top shape using Almond and Brazil Nut oil. My hands were left soft, and I did like the scent, however It's not my favourite in terms of moisturising. It did leave my nails and cuticles looking and feeling a lot better, so I would most likely repurchase it, purely based on that!
Wild Rose Hand Cream is for mature skin. They say hands show ageing first, so It's good to be conscious of it, before the damage starts! This was definitely my favourite scent, and although I'm only 23(turning 24 soon!) I'd still pick this us! It would also be a lovely little gift for your Mum, Nan or Auntie. The cream is also thick, but not as thick as the Hemp Hand Protector. It blends in easily, and left a teeny bit of residue on my hands, nothing to stop me buying this again though!
Hemp Hand Protector is for very dry skin, which is why it was the most moisturising out of the three! It contains Hemp Seed Oil, which is widely known for it's hydrating properties. I found this cream slightly thicker than the other two, but it sunk into my skin quickly, and didn't leave my skin with a greasy residue. Like I said previously I'm not a huge fan of the Hemp Seed Oil scent, but this is the one I would go to during the Winter to keep my hands soft and subtle!

Yours Clothing Wish List

As you all know, I'm a huge fan of Yours Clothing. I love their price point, their quality, and the vast amount of choice on the Website. If you're observant I've 4 items in my cart at the moment! Catering for women from a size 14-32 they have you covered, if you're looking for fast fashion, that won't just last one season. I was introduced to them two years ago, and  it's safe to say we've formed a fantastic relationship. On my recent trip to Manchester I popped into their store in the Arndale Shopping Centre, and feel even further in love, and the staff were an absolute delight! I've a little treat for you Plus Size girls, if you've yet to try Yours Clothing, but before I let you in, on that,I'm going to do a Wish List. I love doing Wish Lists, as it gives me a chance to see what stands out to other girls, things that I necessarily mightn't see at first glance. Because of the vast amount of choice, I find it hard to narrow it down on the website, so I've decided every once in a while I'll do a little wish list (Same goes for Simple Be and Asos, so keep an eye out!) I've chosen to put together an Autumn outfit, as the weather has well and truly taken a turn. As I type this the Wind and Rain and banging against my Window!
As a girly girl, I love a good dress. I'm never that comfortable in something fitted, so I love a nice dress/tunic, that comes in under my bust and flows out over the 'ol tummy. This Grey and Pink Floral Short Sleeve Tunic is a great transitional piece. It's a gorgeous dark grey colour, with an Autumnal flower print. The Dress is extremely feminine with the puffy sleeves, and the frill at the bottom, so adding a belt like this Black Jewel Clasp Belt will enhance your shape and  would suit this style of dress.Bonus points for it to be extra pretty! For this weather, I love Cardigans. They're perfect for when It's not bitterly cold, but you still need to  be covered up. This Grey Marl Cardigan compliments the dress better than a stark black one would be. The dress has a few different shades of grey subtly throughout, so you'd be matching without being too obvious!

It's an easy dress to match items to. I personally would keep it simply with Black Boots. Yours Clothing cater for gals with a wider calve, which is a life saver! I really like these Stretch Wedge Pair. They're dressy, not too high, and can take you anywhere, and under €50 you really can't go too wrong!  As the dress, isn't exactly long a pair of thick tights is essential. This Pair Here are 120 Dernier, and have a range of sizes, so you'll find a pair to fit you best. As you know, for me an outfit isn't completed if you I don't have a Statement necklace, This one HERE, compliments the dress perfectly, and isn't too much for a day to day wear. As there is a chill in the air, a Scarf is a must. I'm a huge fan of snood style scarf, as your neck is completely covered and you don't have to worry about it being blown away! This one HERE again is a dark grey, another colour shown in the tunic, so you'll be perfectly coordinated without looking like you've tried too hard! To complete the look this Large Studded Shopper is perfect. You can take it to Work, Uni, Shopping etc.. It's the type of bag, that if you're like me and carry around the Kitchen Sink will suit you down to the ground!

I've a little treat for those of you who haven't tried Yours Clothing before! By using the Code :BLOGGER9 you can receive £10 off a £20 spend on Full Priced Items, thanks to the lovely ladies over at Yours Clothing! Every little helps, in this day and age, eh? So if you haven't tried them out, now is a good time ;)

Is Autumn Here Yet?

This week, the weather has been so mixed. A couple of days ago, I was digging out my Winter Coat, and now I'm back to light layers. I know I shouldn't complain too much, but I do love Autumn! This is my go-to outfit as of late. It's easy to wear, it's comfortable and it's on trend. I've been wearing this out and about to lunch with the girls, as well as a night out. It's extremely wearable and is that outfit, that you can wear to a few occasion! As you can see the outfit itself is quite plain. Although It's plain the different textures makes the outfit bang on trend. I'm a huge fan of sheer clothing, I think it's sexy in a discreet way, and a funky way to style an outfit! To complete the look, I added a statement necklace, and a Burgundy bag to give the outfit a bit of an Autumnal feel!
I've wanted a pair of brogues for ages ( I know I'm late on the Bandwagon!) However, I'm funny when it comes to shoes and didn't want to spend a fortune on a pair I might not wear. When I was in Manchester I found a gorgeous Black Patent pair in Primark, and they had them in my size! For a bargain of £12, I couldn't go too wrong, so I snapped them up! I've worn them so much recently and I really, really like them! They're so comfortable and they're a nice alternative to boots for the Winter time. Although if you do want to get these ones, I do suggest sizing up!
No outfit is complete without my bowler hat nowadays, so naturally I threw it on! I swear it was the best €40 I've ever spent. I've worn it to absolute death. As I've mentioned I wore this outfit, out for lunch last week with the girls. This pleather skirt was an absolute bargain, and was around £8! I've one my Topshop, but I actually prefer this one. It's more comfortable, and is that slightly bit shorter ;) I really can't praise Penneys/Primark  enough at the moment. They're going from strength to strength, and I can see why. They're quality have come on in leaps and bounds and for fast fashion, it's the first place I look!
Accessories wise, I didn't want to go too over the top. I decided to wear my newest addition to my Statement Necklace collection and then rock this Hermes inspired bag. I absolutely love these style of bags, and you've all seen my three other colours! They fit everything in them, look a lot more expensive than they are and the quality is great. I was between two minds, whether to get this colour. I've always liked burgundy, but I didn't know how much use I'd get out of it. It had been put away for the Summer, so now that Autumn is here, I've whipped it out again! It matches the necklace quite nicely, and definitely gives the outfit an Autumnal feel!

Vaseline Spray and Go Moisturiser

People who know me, know I'm extremely lazy when it comes to my beauty regime! Probably the one thing I hate the most is moisturising. It's so tedious, and I hate waiting for it to dry, especially if it's cold. I often get sucked into to gimicky things, so when I heard about the Vaseline Spray and Go moisturiser, I was intrigued. It was only offer in Boots the other week for €4 so I thought I'd throw it in my basket, and hope for the best! I chose the Green one, for two reasons, I love that colour green, and I love Aloe Vera! It comes in a decent sized can, so it's definitely a bargain! That night after my shower I gave it a go. After drying off, I sprayed it all over my body, and rubbed it in. It took a grand total of 60 seconds to do, and I was pleasantly surprised with the results. My skin was left soft and smooth, and it took minimal effort. I'd really love to try out the two other scents!

Now I'm not going to lie, as moisturising as it is, It's not as silky smooth as the Soap&Glory Body Butter, which is a firm favourite of mine. However when you're in a rush, or just to lazy to moisturise your whole body, this little nifty spray is just perfect! I've sprayed it on to my hand to show you the consistency. It's very creamy, something I didn't expect. It sinks into your skin within seconds, and can be rubbed in easily! It's really easy to use and is definitely worth buying! It will be perfect on those cold Winter mornings, when your skin is dehydrated and you're in desperate need of some TLC. I'm probably going to use this in the mornings, and once a week give use my Soap&Glory Body Butter.I would definitely repurchase this product, as for under a fiver you really can't go too wrong!

Vichy "Aqualia Thermal" Night Spa Review

With Autumn/Winter comes dry skin, and in my case drier skin! I'm constantly looking for products that actually work, and keep my skin hydrated. Vichy is a brand, I've grown to know and love, and now I reach for it more often than not. I've read numerous Blog reviews on "Aqualia Thermal" Night Spa and read it does wonders for dry skin, so I was delighted to give it a go! It comes in a midnight blue pot, and the cream itself is a lovely blue colour. Of course with money being tight, having a Spa experience at home is a lovely idea. Don't get me wrong, I don't often buy into "At Home Spa Experiences" as I find them a cop out, and a waste of money. However after using the Aqualia Thermal, I've changed my mind. It can be used two ways. As a moisturiser and as an hydrating mask sleep mask.
Vichy "Aqualia Thermal"* rrp€27
As a Beauty Blogger as well, as a Fashion one, I'm constantly reading reviews before I try something out. I want to see is it worth the money and more importantly will it work well for my skin. As I've mentioned Vichy is a brand, I've really come to love. It's not harsh on my skin, and thankfully I've never had any negative effects from using any of their products. I wouldn't call my skin "sensitive" but I like to think I'm careful and wary not to use rubbish on it. Vichy isn't the cheapest skincare out there, but I've honestly loved every products I've tried, and would 100% repurchase them, although this product is one of my favourites! The consistency feel quite gel like, yet creamy once on the skin. It contains both Thermal Spring Water and Hyaluronic Acid. I apply this product as a Hydrating Sleep Mask, as I figure the more moisture I can get the better, and once I apply a thick layer at night, my skin feels incredibly soft and my skin looks plumper in the morning. If I'm looking for a proper "Spa Experience" I have a nice bath, light some candles and massage it on a freshly cleansed face. I massage the cream upwards across my face, and for my neck I use downwards strokes for my neck, and reap the benefits. at €27 it's less than half of what you'd pay for a facial. I really do love this product, and I know it will be a staple in my skincare routine all throughout Winter.

Are you ready for Autumn?

It's official Autumn is here! I've packed away my Summer clothes and have taken down my Winter wardrobe from the attic! I've said this before, and I'll say it again. I love Autumn. I love the colours, I love wrapping up warm and I love Layering. Working in retail, I've been working with Autumn Winter clothes for a while now, so with the weather turning, I'm getting really excited to wear them. When it comes to this time of the year, I look to River Island, Topshop and H&M to update my wardrobe. I find the quality good in all three stores, and although some are more expensive than the other's I find Topshop and River Island bang on trend, and I've clothes from both stores from four, five and six years ago, that's still in perfect condition, and for stylish basics, I always head to H&M!

River Island Wish List

River Island.
Their Rihanna collection really didn't impress me at all. It's what I can only describe as Blah. I haven't done as much shopping in River Island last season as I've done in the past, but their A/W stock is fantastic. I love their coats, and their knits. They have a collection of knitwear with fantastic price points, as well as Faux Leather jackets under €70! You really can't go too wrong! For now, it's not bitterly cold, so layering up a cute mini or maxi skirt is perfect. I love this gorgeous purple maxi you can wear it with a leather jacket, an autumnal floral crown and cut out boots for a look that's on trend, and will still keep you relatively warm. Pair the mini, with a lace crop top, tights and boots with the same jacket, and you're good to go. Although I will add, that once it goes past September I don't recommend rocking the crop top trend!
Untitled #62
Topshop
Topshop is my go to store (when they have size 16's!) and lately they've had gorgeous things for Autumn/Winter! Now I will admit something are overpriced, but if it's something you know you'll wear again, and again it's worth the cost per wear. Like River Island, I love Topshop's knitwear. Their Cardigan's last me years, and are so soft on my skin! For this time of year pretty skater dresses are perfect to wear with a pair of black tights and boots. All you need to do is throw on a chunky knit or a leather jacket and you're set to go! They've loads of cool quirky patterns this year, that makes it easier to match,I normally choose a complimenting colour or a colour in the pattern. For me a denim shirt is the perfect transitional piece. you can wear it on it's own, or layered up, add a statement necklace and you're set to go! I personally love pairing a shirt under a loose jumper to keep you cosy, and stylish.
Untitled #63
H&M
H&M has to be one of my favourite stores. I can run in on my lunch break, and pick up something nice for under twenty quid!  They have fantastic basics, and most of the time are fantastic quality. Although They have two different materials of leggings, and the more stretchy pair are far more better quality than the less stretchy version (Just F.Y.I) Everything here can be mixed and match for a number of different looks! I love leather skater skirts. They're flattering, comfortable and can be dressed up or down. A Parka jacket is perfect for this time of year, as they're not as warm as wool coats. Khaki jeans are a great alternative to black or blue jeans and can go with an array of colours. H&M aren't known for crazy colours, which I love. It's simple, classic and you're always going to find something you're looking for!

Are you guys ready for Autumn?

Urban Decay NYC Palette Review

Normally, I'm not a huge fan of Palette, or if I buy one, I want them to be neat and compact so I can fit them in my makeup bag. I was browsing in House of Fraser in Dundrum, last week and this palette caught my eye. Originally I was going in to have a look at the Naked 2, a lover of the Naked 1 I wanted to have a little snoop. The MUA dupe is fantastic, and all but I had a little voucher so I thought I'd treat myself! However when I saw this Urban Decay Palette on display, I had a little look and it, and immediately fell in love. The packaging really, really sold me and to be honest I didn't really care about the eye shadow colours. However all of them are gorgeous, and surprisingly usable. I'm definitely a neutral kinda girl, but recently I've been reaching for the bold colours more and more. Upon opening the palette you're greeted with this...
It is just so pretty, that I had to have it. If only for my dressing table! It lights up too. I know, I know I get sucked in easily but it was only sale for €36! It would make a really good Birthday or Christmas present as the box is just gorgeous. I'm usually not a huge fan of the Urban Decay packaging, but I must admit this is by far the nicest eye shadow palette I've ever seen/used! Now of course with all Urban Decay eye shadows they're extremely pigmented and come in an array of colours. As much as I love neutral palette's, there's something fun about having a few crazy colours to experiment with.  I love absolutely all the colours here! All the neutral ones are perfect for during the day, and all the brighter ones are perfect for a night out, if you want to do a different smokey eye look! As well as 16 eye shadows, you get an eyeliner, and they're infamous Primer Potion.
For €36, I think it's an amazing deal! Make up isn't very high on my wish lists, as I'm a clothes kinda gal, but I'm delighted I bought this palette this month! The quality is exceptional, and the colours last all night! I've been wearing this palette for the past two weeks, and I honestly can't get enough!

Everyday Make Up

I get asked a lot what makeup do I use on a regular basis, so I thought I'd finally put pen to paper, and let you guys know what I use! I suppose the reason, I've put it off for so long, is that I'm not a makeup artist. I just love playing around with it, and seeing what looks work, and which don't!  I'm in love with High Street makeup brands, and tend to choose them over "Designer" brands, so hope you're all not disappointed! (Although if you do want a look using the High end makeup I use from time to time, I'll get around to doing that too!)
First things first, my makeup bag. I picked it up in Penney's for €4. It's the perfect size for my handbag, and I can fit all my essentials in it. It also helps that it's cute too. I love my Ted Baker one, but I find it too hard, and it's near impossible to cart it around! I fit all the below items comfortably in this little case, which is a first for me. I must say, I was surprised that the little Benefit Palette fitted in nicely, as before I'd have to leave it at home, if I didn't want to bulk up my old makeup bags!
To start things off I use Rimmel "Wake Me Up" foundation. I find it's perfect for my dry skin. I gives me a nice dewy look, and isn't too heavy. It's medium coverage, and but you can build it for a higher coverage. It's definitely one of my favourite foundations of all time. To apply the foundation I use my MAC Stipling brush #187 After I let it set for a minute or two, I apply the Collection2000 concealer to my under-eyes, blemishes and anything else i want covered up!I can't rave enough about this concealer. It's the best I've ever, ever, ever used and for less than €7 you really can't go too wrong. If I'm out for the day, I'll apply Benefit's "Hello Flawless" powder. More often than not, I don't used any powder at all.
After my base is set, I start contouring. My favourite product for this is the Bourjous "Bronzing Primer" It's equally gorgeous used as a Primer, as it is used for contouring. I used the Stipling brush from Real Techniques, and apply it to the hollows of my cheeks, either size of my nose, and my temples. After I've blended I get my Blush Brush, again from Real Techniques, and apply MAC's "Dainty" shimmery blush all over my cheeks. My favourite product used on my cheeks, has to be the LACREATIVE highlighter*. It's by far the best I've used, and will be repurchasing it when it runs out! I just look the colour of it, and it gives me a nice natural glow! I prefer it to any of the MAC highlighters, and even High Beam!
For my eyes, I use Benefit's "Sexiest Nudes  Ever" Palette* and use the pink shade all over my lid, and the light brown shade lightly blended in to my crease. What I like about this palette is, that it's natural, yet you can mix and match the palette for a different look. I've been on a mission to find the perfect Mascara, for as long as I can remember. I always find it rather difficult to settle on a mascara.  I have a Love/Hate relationship with "They're Real" by Benefit. I love how it looks, but It's a nightmare to remove. I recently tried No.7 "Fanomenal" Lashes*  and I think I've found my new favourite mascara. I honestly wasn't expecting much, but it's fast become my go to mascara. My lashes looks fuller, longer and the best part, it's not a nightmare to remove. After my eyeshadow and mascara are done, I fill in my brows. Which is then followed by a touch of pink lipstick and a bit of gloss for a girly, natural look!

Yours Clothing Maxi Review

For me, there's something so effortless about wearing a maxi. They're the perfect Summer dress. All you need to do is throw it on, and you're set to go. Summer for me is all about comfortable chic, and Maxi dresses epitomise this. The one from Yours Clothing* is gorgeous. I choose this one, as I wanted to wear this both in Summer and in Autumn, and the colours allow me to do so. Red, Purples and of course Black are not usual Summer colours, so paired with a leather biker jacket and boots, you can rock it when it gets a litte bit colder!
As you can see it's a very tribal print, and I love it to death! I've worn it loads over the Summer, and have gotten so many compliments when I've rocked it. I swear, whenever I wear clothes from Yours Clothing, I get complimented! The dress is a light material, so it's perfect for the heat, and with elastic below the bust, it's a flattering cut for my tummy! I wanted to tie in the red in the dress, so I paired it with my Bag I bought in Bulgaria for about €19! They had them in a few different colours, but I opted for the red, as I during the Winter months, I revert back to black, so I wanted a nice piece of arm candy to brighten up those long Winter days!
I'm 5'6 and this length is perfect on me. It's just grazes the ground, but if you were to add wedges, it would still look nice, and not too short, providing they're not 6inches! I was going to add a belt to cinch in my waist but because yesterday was really warm, I decided against it! I went for Tapas with two of my friends, we sat outside and I was glad of the lightweight fabric and the little extra room in the tummy away! It was a perfect afternoon, and then I went home, and finished my CurvaceousInc column for next month! I have a couple of days off from work so I was happy to get it out of the way, so I can enjoy the rest of the week, and get ready for Plus North!
The bag is definitely one that I'll get a ton of wear out of, and it's the perfect size for me! I'm not one for small bags so I can fit all my usual bits and bobs in this with ease! I've had a quick look on the Yours Clothing website, and unfortunately it seems this one is sold out, but they have quite of number of similar ones! If you're on the lookout for a transitional maxi dress, I couldn't recommend Yours Clothing further!

Fashion World "Wear Two Ways" Boot Challenge

I can't believe it's the 3rd of September already! Summer has flown by, and I've mixed feelings about it. On one hand I love the long evening, and eating outside, but on the other I'm looking forward to wrapping up all warm and cosy, and snuggling up in bed with my electric blanket on! For me I love Winter clothes. I love layering, and I love boots. Normally I'm an over the knee or ankle boot gal, but when I was given the chance to try out the "Two Way" boot, thanks to Fashion World. At first I was a bit apprehensive, as I don't know what a "Two Way" boot would look like, and before I say them, I wondered whether or not, they'd be a bit naff! I couldn't of been more wrong!
The Legroom "Wear Two Ways Boot"* come in a gorgeous tan, as well as black. I love the tan colour as it's really wearable. I've seen a million and one black boots lately, but I was on the lookout for something a little bit different, so I was delighted to test them out. They come in two sizes "Standard" and "Curvy".  I ordered my usual size (6) and the "Curvy" fit.  I struggle to find a nice boot of boots to accommodate by calves, and these babies fit like a glove! They still had plenty of room even with my skinny jeans tucked into them.  I couldn't get over how comfortable they where! I wore them for the whole day, and didn't even need to break them in.
I styled them in a comfy-casual way. I paired it with my new favourite pair of jeans. The "Chloe Ankle Grazer Skinny Jeans* which are by far the best fitting jeans I've ever owned. I love the Ankle Grazer style, as they're effortlessly chic. I threw on an oversized top from Label Lab at House of Fraser, a quirky scarf and necklace from Fran&Jane and added my trusty Bowler hat! To tie in the browns, I also wore my Louis Vuitton Speedy 35. I don't know about you, but I love wearing black and brown together. There's something about breaking fashion rules, that gives me great satisfaction!
As you can see there is elastic at the back of the boot, giving you extra room and comfort. When I first heard of the two-way boot, I thought they'd look really obvious, that you can wear them two ways. But you really can't tell that you can remove the top part, which I love! It's extremely easy to turn them into ankle boots. All you need to do, is unbuckle them at the bottom, and zip the top part all the way down. It takes two minutes and your look is transformed! For £55 they're incredibly value, as you do get two boots for the price of one. I can't wait to wear them all throughout the Winter. The tan colour will allow me to wear them with all my jeans and leggings, as they're a nice neutral colour!

Now on to my next look...
For my second look, I decided to take a bit of inspiration from L.A. I can see myself rocking this look walking down Rodeo Drive, thinking I'm someone that I'm not! The Kimono is nice and breezy, and is perfect for the Sunshine we keep getting. It's the perfect cover up, and is bang on trend right now too. The "Chloe Ankle Grazers" look even cooler rolled up, so you can see a bit of my ankle for an effortless L.A feel. I actually wore these boots without socks, and my feet were still really comfortable and weren't sore at the end of the day, as the lining inside them is a nice soft material. I also took the opportunity to throw a floral crown on my head, soon they will be replaced by warm hats, so I'm still clinging on to the last few days of Summer!
The  boots, look just as nice as ankle boots, and I really can't stress how comfortable they are. They look like they're just make as ankle boots, and show no signs of been able to convert to a knee high boots, which I'm thrilled about, as that was probably my number one concern! I didn't want a pair of boots, that looked like they were multi purpose. Over all I absolutely love, love, love these boots, and the Jeans are the best pair of jeans I own. I've been blown away with the quality and having never tried Fashion World before, It's safe to say they've gained a new customer!

Benefit "Do the Bright Thing" Best and Brightest Makeup Kit

Benefit "Do the Bright thing" Best and Brightest Makeup kit*rrp€37

It's not surprise that I'm a huge fan of Benefit. When I heard they were opening up a one stop shop in Dublin's City Centre I squealed! I love everything about the brand, and I especially love their packaging. Not one to get sucked in purely on pretty packaging, I've tried and tested most of their products! Now not going to lie, I've been slightly disappointed with a few of their products "Stay Flawless" being one of them, but generally they hit the nail on the head time and time again. I love their "Porefessional", "They're Real"(Review coming soon!) and "Hello Flawless" both the liquid foundation and their powder. Whenever I talk to people about the brand, they always mentioned their adorable packaging. It's by far the prettiest out of all all the beauty brands and I'm always excited when they bring out something new.

A little while ago Benefit brought out 3 makeup kits, containing some of their most loved products. I've been a fan of "High Beam" for absolute years, as well as "Dandelion" and I remember using my pocket money to buy them when I was in school, so I was delighted trying out this set. As well as those cult products, you receive "That Gal" Brightening Face Primer, "They're Real" mascara, and "Bad Gal Liner" It all comes cutely packaged in a 70's inspired  bright pink and orange box, with instructions and a good sized mirror. It's a great little gift, and the products are definitely useful. "They're Real" Mascara included in the kit is the perfect clutch bag size or travel size, and even though it's a smaller size, theirs quite a lot of product in it!  I've used this kit when I was out the night before, and had to look presentable the next day, and was quite impressed. I love highlighter products, and the soft, subtle "Dandelion" blush/face powder gives your cheeks an instant natural glow. It's the perfect kit for when you're skin is a bit dull, and you want your skin to be luminous.

As I've dry skin, the Luminosity is the key to making my skin look flawless. All the products combined really gives me a healthy glow. I will definitely be repurchasing "High Beam" and "That Gal" so I can have that glow all the time! These sets are perfect for gifts, or thinking ahead(way ahead) stocking fillers. The set also comes with instructions on how to get the perfect look, using all the products, which is great for girls who are only starting out playing with Make up, or even someone who wants to learn a few new makeup tricks! At €37 it's not exactly the cheapest kit you can buy, but the packaging is nearly enough to buy it alone,It's so 70's! You get great cult products, that you will actually use, and although they're small sizes, you won't ruin out after 1 use, like some other makeup sets on the market.

Keeping It Casual

Jumper:CocoBoutique, Jeans:Forever21, Hat:Topshop, Glasses:Primark
On my days off, I don't really fancy dressing up, and much prefer to wear jeans, and an oversized top or jumper. It's effortless but still put together. I've accumulated a million and one oversized top and jumpers, so I always have one to wear. I buy them from a number of Stores. I love TKMAXX, H&M, Zara, Fran&Jane, Coco Boutique and even Ebay for nice ones. With the weather swiftly changing, they're the perfect transitional piece, as they're easy to layer. I wore this the other day going out for dinner. I love these Forever21 jeans. They're incredibly comfortable and I love the pattern. I've kept it safe by only pairing them with black, so I wanted to step outside my comfort zone, and pair it with something else. This grey jumper is possibly one of my favourites. I got it for my Birthday last year, and no studs have fallen off, and I've worn it quite a number of times! I'm always impressed when beads, studs and sequins don't fall off tops! I've lost count of the number of times I've bought something only for it to be ruined after one wear!

I wanted to be a bit funky, so I added my "Geek" glasses, and my all time favourite bowler hat. I swear it is the best €40 I've ever spent. I've worn it to death, and I don't know what I'd do if I lost it. Normally I'd never spend so much money on one hat, but I've definitely got so much wear out of it. I'm sure you guys are sick of seeing it, in every outfit post ;) I wore these comfy shoes from Penney's that are very similar to the Vans one, but at €8 a pop, a good bit cheaper! I've worn them loads, and I can't get over how comfortable they are! I didn't add any jewellery, as I didn't want to go overboard. I'm not quite ready to let go of Summer yet, but with the darker nights slowing creeping in, It's inevitable Winter is just around the corner.

Hope you all had a fab weekend!
