Hair Care Routine, Part 1

The most asked questions from you lovely lot, are about my hair and me eyebrows. So I thought I'd let ya'll know what products I use. Now before I start rambling I am definitely not a "Beauty Guru", but I'll just let you guys know what I use, and what I find works well for me.

Now as I'm sure you've all noticed, I'm a fan of big hair. I love backcombing and don't think I'll ever be a fan of hair with no volume.  First things first, I rarely straighten my hair. After about my 5th GHD broke (2 nearly went on fire, one disappeard, one randomly wouldn't work and an ex stood on another one!) So I gave up on straightening my hair and now have a some
what crappy one from BOOTS, that I forked out a whopping €15 for. It does the job, as my hair doesn't stay straight for long anyway, it just makes my hair a little less cray.

Anyway, enough of my mumbo jumbo...
My favorite Shampoo & Conditioner has to be the "Miracle Moist" from Aussie. It's available in Nationwide in all good Pharmacy's and Supermarket's. It claims to be for "hair that's dry, damaged, and a little unhappy"  I repurchased this on Saturday, as there was a promo on in BOOTS, where you can purchase two Aussie Products for €7. An absolute bargain that I couldn't resist. It makes my hair so soft and silky and not to mention it smells lush. Definitely a great alternative to higher end brands, and I couldn't recommend the Aussie line more.

I went shopping with my lovely blog friend Laura, and she recommend this L'oreal "Extraordinary oil" to me on Saturday. Thank you Laura!, it has officially become my new favourite hair oil. I've only used it three times, but WOW it's certainly made a great first impressions. My hair feels amazing afterwards, it's literally like silk. At over €12 this was a bit of an indulgence for me in terms of hair care, but you get a generous sized bottle, and you only need 2 or 3 pumps every go, so this bottle will definitely last me awhile. You can use it both on wet and dry hair depending on what you want the oil to do. I've also been loving "Bio Silk Oil" That I received in last month's Glossy Box, so when that runs out, I'll be using that as well. My hair has never been in such good condition, and now I've two great hair oils to choose from!

My Hair Care Routine Part 2, will all be about how I get my hair HUUUUGE, watch this space gorgeous girls :)

  1. Aussie is my favourite hair care brand- absolutely love the miracle moist ones! I'd recommend their Miracle Hair Insurance leave in conditioners- I swear by them as they work wonders on keeping my hair healthy and glossy, and also the 3 Minute Miracle is great for some TLC. I've never tried a hair oil before, though xx

  2. I love Aussie! But it's pretty expensive here in Denmark. Around 10 or 11 British pounds pr. bottle!

    2. Seriously! Luckily they're on sale pretty often, but that's still expensive. Thanks for the tip - looked into it a few months ago though, I guess the delivery costs will make the price the same.
